This Sales Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the sale of original artworks by Alice Kauer Artworks through this website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms in full.

1. Product Scope

  • All artworks listed on the website are original, one-of-a-kind pieces by the artist Alice Kauer.
  • Limited edition prints or reproductions may be provided on request. Not eligible for return or refund.

2. Orders & Payment

  • Full payment is required to confirm an order, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • For custom or commissioned artworks, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin the work. The remaining 50% is payable before delivery.
  • Payments are processed in AED via secure payment gateways. Currency conversion fees (if applicable) are the responsibility of the buyer.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • Within the UAE: Delivery is handled directly by the artist or a trusted professional team.
  • International Orders: Shipped via DHL with full insurance coverage. Shipping fees and any applicable customs duties are the buyer’s responsibility.
  • Delivery timelines vary depending on location but will be confirmed at the time of order.

4. Certificate of Authenticity

  • Each original artwork includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

5. Return & Refund Policy

  • Original artworks are eligible for return within 7 days of delivery, provided they are in original condition and returned in the original packaging.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
  • Upon successful return, a refund will be issued within 7 business days, minus shipping costs and any applicable payment gateway fees.

6. Replacements for Damaged Artwork

  • In the unlikely event that artwork arrives damaged, you must report it within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
  • If confirmed, a full replacement or similar artwork will be offered at no additional cost. If a similar piece is not available, a full refund will be issued.

7. Repairs

  • Minor repairs for issues such as surface touch-ups are available for up to 2 years from the delivery date.
  • The buyer is responsible for transportation and repair costs. Please contact alicekauerart@gmail.com for a repair assessment.

8. Order Cancellations

  • Orders for ready-made (non-custom) artworks can be canceled prior to shipping for a full refund.
  • For custom orders the payment is non-refundable.

9. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

  • This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
  • In case of any dispute, parties shall first attempt amicable resolution. If unresolved, the matter will be referred to the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.
